Preschool RTI, or Response to Intervention, is a comprehensive approach to early childhood intervention that focuses on providing individualized instruction and support to students who are struggling academically or behaviorally. Additionally, teachers should work closely with other professionals, such as school psychologists, social workers, and speech–language pathologists, to ensure that the student is receiving appropriate interventions. Finally, the RTI approach also focuses on providing positive reinforcement and social–emotional support for the student. It is important to recognize the student’s successes and to foster a positive learning environment.
